Did you know that the dogs of the Fish and Game Canine Team are NOT supported by Fish and Game?  Their food, veterinary care and training equipment are paid for by The Wildlife Heritage Foundation through a donor restricted fund reserved to pay for all these expenses. Fish and Game recently purchased an extended cab truck for Officer Bob Mancini and the newest canine Ruger, but the special outfitting of the cab was not included. Specially designed for Ruger’s traveling safety, storage for his equipment, and special climate controls to keep him safe in both summer and winter. These were paid for through YOUR donations! The outfitting was expensive and used up all of the donor restricted funds.

PLEASE HELP OUT THE DOGS BY SENDING A DONATION to the Wildlife Heritage Foundation of NH and note Canine Fund on your check. Our address is PO Box 3993, Concord, NH 03302. These talented and well trained dogs not only do search and rescue for missing people, but also are trained to search for poachers and recover evidence.  They are vital to all our safety, so please help support them.  Learn more about the unit by clicking on the Special Projects/Canine Unit page on the website.
