bass proThe Wildlife Heritage Foundation of NH was selected as one of the beneficiaries of the grand opening at the new Bass Pro Shop in Hooksett, NH. The Evening For Conservation on February 19th celebrated the opening of Bass Pro Shop’s first NH store, and for every $1 spent during the opening event, 50¢ was donated to the 3 organizations recognized for their excellence in conservation.

The new mega 149,000 square-foot Sportsman’s Center in Hooksett combines retail with entertainment, conservation, and outdoor education for fishing hunting, hiking, backpacking, camping and wildlife viewing. Special events and guest celebrities added to the excitement of the opening weekend celebration.

As the official non-profit partner of the NH Fish and Game Department, the Wildlife Heritage Foundation of NH is especially grateful to have been selected as one of the Bass Pro Shops Conservation Night beneficiaries. With the Foundation’s mission of supporting Fish and Game’s critical wildlife, conservation and educational programs important to New Hampshire family traditions of hiking, fishing, hunting and watching wildlife, the funds received from Bass Pro Shops will go to preserving the wild places and wild things in NH for generations to come.
