Tom_Steve_GlennTom Sullivan of Sturm Ruger recently presented a check for $3,200 to the Wildlife Heritage Foundation of NH, proceeds from the auction of the commemorative firearm with Serial Number One of the special rifles being produced to commemorate Fish and Game’s 150th anniversary.

“We always like to help wildlife organizations around the state,” said Sullivan. “It’s our passion.”

The Ruger M77 Hawkeye rifles are in .308 Win and feature an all-weather stainless steel, 22-inch barrel and receiver matched with an American walnut stock. Each rifle includes a numbered floorplate with the NH Fish and Game Department’s anniversary seal in 14 karat gold. The serial number of each rifle includes the prefix NHFG and a number that matches the floorplate, along with a certificate of authenticity.
